What does it take to impress a kid these days, let alone inspire?

At least in my experience, all it takes is music technology, something as simple as loud guitars and amps. All the better if the sound is mangled by pedals. Some things never change.

We're committed to getting curious kids around the world into a room with the types of things that inspire me every day: a guitar rig, mics and an audio interface, a synth rack, maybe an ambisonic field recorder; the options are endless. I have personally witnessed how kids truly come alive around these things, and most never get to directly interact with gear like this.

Can it really be so simple? I believe it can.
